Using the HireVue Live Desktop Application

If you are using Safari to take a Live interview, you will have to download the HireVue Live desktop application. This application runs on your desktop or laptop. It does not run in your web browser.

Follow the steps below to download the HireVue Live desktop application:

1. Click on the option to start the interview in the invitation email.

2. On the next page, the download steps will be listed. The application should start downloading. If it doesn’t, select the option click here.
   

3. When the download completes, double click on it. It will also be available in your Downloads folder.

4. Once the Installer launches, click Continue to start the installation process.

5. Once the installation is completed, your interview will open in a new window on your desktop. Click Let’s get started to continue to the interview.

 

Please note: You can close the interview window in your browser. Your interview will run in the desktop application.

When you access a Live interview in the future, you will not have to download the desktop application again. When you click on the start interview link in your email invitation in the future, you will need to click Allow to continue to the interview in the desktop application.
