If you cannot see the examiner, and the screen looks like the following image, the examiner has not yet started the interview. When he starts the interview, he will be able to hear and see him.
When the examiner begins the interview, the screen should appear as shown below:
If you are on this page but cannot see your own image or that of the examiner, follow the steps below:
- Be sure to close any other programs that may be using the webcam such as Skype, FaceTime, etc.
- Refresh the page. This will allow you to log in to the interview again and will make it easier for you to troubleshoot potential connection, browser, or computer problems.
- Check the webcam settings to ensure it is working properly. Webcam settings (Windows) or webcam settings (Mac / Apple).
- Restart your computer.
