If you do not hear the answer when viewing the practice question, please follow the steps below:
- Be sure to close any other applications that may be using the microphone, such as Skype, FaceTime, etc.
- Switch browsers. We support the latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari 9 or later. It is recommended to use Google Chrome.
Please note: Because Internet Explorer no longer supports Flash, it is no longer possible to complete the OnDemand interview on Internet Explorer. The OnDemand interview can only be completed in one of the supported browsers (see above) or HireVue for Candidates app.
- If you use headphones to answer the questions, be sure to use headphones when listening to the practice question playback.
- Make sure the speaker is preset to the correct device. Please use the following guidelines to check: audio and speaker settings on a Windows computer or audio and speaker settings on an Apple computer .
- Check your microphone settings to make sure the microphone is working properly. The microphone setting of a Windows computer or the microphone setting of an Apple computer .
If the problem persists, it is recommended to use another device to complete the interview. Please refer to the specific instructions in this guide: How to use a mobile device for an interview .
