If you’ve been invited to a Live interview, you’re just one step away from a real-time conversation with the hiring company! Unlike OnDemand interviews where you record your answers privately, a Live interview happens in real-time, much like a traditional video call.
How it Works
A Live interview is scheduled for a specific time when both you and a representative from the hiring company can talk face-to-face virtually. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the role, and share your experiences directly with the hiring team.
Preparing for Success
Your email invitation will contain information about your interview, including two very important things:
Your Scheduled Time: Be sure to double-check the time zone!
A System Test Link: We highly recommend using this link at least 24 hours before your interview. This will help ensure your camera, microphone, and internet connection are all set for a smooth conversation.
Who manages the interview?
While Hirevue provides the interviewing platform, the interview itself is set up and hosted by the company you applied to. They will be the ones waiting on the other side of the screen to meet you!
