If you get a Camera and Microphone Access Request error during the interview, HireVue will not be able to access your camera and microphone.
Follow these steps to allow HireVue to access your camera and microphone:
- In the address bar at the top of the page, click on the camera icon with an x located at the top right .
- In the new window, select the option Always allow access [to web addresses] to the camera and microphone .
Note: The web address will be different from that of the screenshot, as each interview has a unique web address.
- Click Finish .
- In the error message about requesting access to camera and microphone , click Try Again .
